Surprise Cooking Segment

A little jingle plays as the TV switches from static to a lovely, 70s inspired kitchen. A young woman with curly, shoulder length brown hair and light skin twirls into the shot wearing a lovely orange dress and white apron. She has striking red eyes and circular glasses with thin frames.
A logo appears onscreen:
"Cryptid Cooking with Claire!"

The jingle fades and Claire waves to the studio audience.
"Hello, everyone!!! :) It's so nice to be here. Today, I've got a very, very special recipe for you. Buffalo Dromen Strips! My friend Kade just *loves* this recipe, I make them for him every time he visits." Claire smiles, and a picture of a the food appears in a little square next to her head on the screen. They look very similar to just chicken wings.
"So!" Claire claps, the camera panning down to the counter in front of her. "For this recipe, we'll need one pound of boneless, skinless dromen meat - breast or thigh is typically used! One half cup all-purpose flour, three large egg whites, two tablespoons hot sauce, two thirds cup plain dried bread crumbs, one tablespoon plus one teaspoon steak seasoning, two tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, and one half cup hot sauce."

Claire smiles and brings the egg whites and two tablespoons of hot sauce together, starting to whisk.
"Now, whisk these together real quiiick.." She looks up at the camera when she's done. "Perfect!"
Claire moves over to the oven. "Let's pre-heat the oven for 400F reaaal quick, and..." She pulls out a wire-rack topped baking sheet and quickly greases it.

Claire brings herself back to the counter and instructs the viewer to mix the bread crumbs and steak seasoning together, then brings that bowl next to the egg-white-hot-sauce mix, and brings the bowl of flour next to that.
"Now!" Claire brings out the dromen meat. It looks like poultry in texture, but it's a weird darkish blue. "One by one, lightly dredge each piece of meat first in the flour, shaking off the excess, then dip it into the egg, and finally press it into the bread crumbs, taking care to coat both sides. Place the coated meat on a plate and repeat the process with the remaining chicken."
Claire demonstrates.
The camera pans to the left, showing a skillet over a burner.
"Here we have a non-stick skillet with one tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat! Slowly, let's place our dromen in the pan. Don't overcrowd it, though!"
Claire demonstrates, carefully adding the dromen meat to the pan. Some oil splashes on her hands. You notice they already look pretty burnt- her hands, that is.

After a couple minutes, Claire has all the dromen fried.
"Right! Now, let's bring these to the prepared rack and bake until cooked through." Claire smiles softly, placing the dromen meat into the oven. "Should be about 8-10 minutes!"
There's a jump cut.
"Our dromen tenders are almost done!" Claire smiles wide, placing the wire rack on the counter. "All you need to do now is coat them in your favorite hot sauce!"
Claire demonstrates, smothering them in a nice buffalo sauce. It actually looks rather appetising.

"Remember, dromen meat isn't to be consumed by anyone younger than 21 years of age in the United States! As tempting as it may be, it can really, really stunt your child's development." Claire sighs as she takes a bite. "It sucks that my wife is like, suuuuper pregnant right now and can't have any..."
"Anywho! Thanks for watching, and I'll see you next time onnnn..."
The jingle returns.
"Cryptid Cooking with Claire!"
The TV returns to static. You feel hungry.
