Hypotheticals

Throughout the series, there have been many different Hypothetical questions asked either through forums, connections, or the general discord discussions.

I have compiled a list of all of them.
None of these hypotheticals have ever been confirmed as to what they represent, what their answers are, or even if they even have an answer at all.

Locks and Keys

You are presented with six keys. 
Each key has one symbol, and each key opens one lock. 

The first key has the symbol of a lily. 
The second key has the symbol of resurrection. 
The third key has the symbol of health. 
The fourth key has the symbol of death. 
The fifth key has the symbol of love. 
And the sixth key has the symbol of ascension. 

The locks you are given are of varying sizes, shapes, colors. 
None tell you what key fits where. 

The first lock is old, bronze, and rusted. 
The second lock is gray, steel, and cold. 
The third lock is pink, delicate, and painted with flowers.
The fourth lock is bloodied, black, and warm. 
The fifth lock is wooden, has letters carved into it, and bleeds. 
The sixth lock doesn’t exist. 

What key unlocks the sixth lock?

A Door in a Field

A door is left in the middle of the field. 
It stands stiffly, and leads nowhere. 
However, people enter it all the time. 
But it is a door, a door to nowhere, a door in a field that leads to nothing. 

What's going on?

Missing Friends

You go exploring with two friends. 
Eventually, you lose the both of them. 
You end up finding your way back to the car and wait for a few hours,
but they don't come back. 
No attempts to contact them are successful. 

After a few months, their remains wash up on a beach on the other side of the country.
Their carcasses are badly beat up, 
determined to have been before their deaths, 
and autopsy reports show that their stomach contents contain each other's flesh.

Beyond the Window

You find yourself in a room with no entrances nor exits, save for a single window.
From across the room, the window glows a bright red, 
but as you approach, the scenery behind the window appears clearer.

Car Crash

It's the dead of night. You're walking home. 
On this road, you are never hit. 
Not once have you been hit. 
You're walking down the center of the road, holding a lantern. 
However, this time, you are hit by a car. 
You survive, but not for long.

Glass Mimic

The Photos

You are given two photos. 
One is of you. The second is of you and a friend. 

But that friend wasn't in that photo, 
and is, in fact, someone you do not know at all. 

You are given a third photo. 
It is of their grave, next to yours, 
but theirs is dug, and yours is fresh. 

The dates are blurred, the surroundings are black, 
and the tombstones read your name in a language you don't understand. 

What is this? 
Where are you? 
Who are you? 
Who are they? 
When did you die?

Notes

When this hypothetical was given to The Playwright with the option to respond with "LOVE", it gave this response:

Lily was given two photos.
One was of her. The other was of Raine and Jessica.

But Jessica was not in that photo,
and was, in fact, someone Lily did not know at all.

Lily was given a third photo.
It was of Jessica's grave, next to Raine's,
but Jessica's was dug, and Raine's was fresh.

The date is June 16, 2020. It's raining,
and the tombstones depict flowers seen only in the Voynich Manuscript.

This is what happened in the following days.
Lily never went there. Zena sent the photos.
When someone dies, their memory persists, keeping them alive.
Raine became what he wanted. Powerful, indestructible. A child's fantasy. Jessica, on the other hand, never ever had the opportunity to play. She was out when the game started.
Lily September died on December 5, 2019.
